Barbara's Philosophy

RELEASE YOUR PAST - CHANGE YOUR FUTURE -- Most of us would change an action or words we have done or said. Some actgions became habits, ie smoking. Bruce Lipton, in Biology of Belief, has found tghat sells remember emotionally and mentally charged lessons from events either experienced mentall or physically. By going to that point in time/pace and discharging, or reframing, reinterpreting or changing the mental or emotional impact. Thus, mental, emotion and often physical changes happen in he present are are carried forward into future.

HE/SHE WHO DOES NOT KNOW THEIR HISTROY IS BOUND TO REPEAT IT. In school we learn the lesson of the past history of our country/world so we don't have to make the same mistakes again. So it is with individuals. The movie Ground Hog Day illustrates this. Barbara has found with clients, when clients remember their past andafter seeing the results of former decisions, they are able to make different decisions and thus are released from their former cycles, past mistakes and are able to release their past, forgive themselves and others and accept new patterns of being.

CONTROL: Each is in control of their present. Our present is a reflection of our choices of our past. For example, our decision to be a smoker made us "cool" and gave us a quick means to relax. It also gave us a shorter life span and greater chance for cancer, illness resulting in faster aging and a shorter life. When those choices are re-made, the future is changed, resulting in better health, greater energy and more choices. Another decision to be healthy results not only in a certain type of eating habits, but also in physical conditioning which often leads to delayed aging and longer life.

During the session the client remains in control during the session. Each technique is explained prior to use. In 95% ofsessions, the client has conscious control and is able to termiinate the session at anytime. In the other 5%, very deep hypnosis is used in medical situations.

EVERY EXPERIENCE HAD/HAS A PURPOSE: Our unwanted behaviours, at a time in our past, were beneficial, if only for one time. When we get in a similar situation, what was helpful is often automatically done, even if the results are not desired. By consciously and unconsciously leaving that behavior where it was in its own space and time, we have choice in whatwe do in the present.

CHOICE: We each have constant choices. Most of the time most people are acting out of habit (coffee, black, of course),ease (wear what is clean, in fashion, in closet). Not all choices are easy. All choices are not permanent. Some are between a "rock and a hard spot". The power is inmaking the choice. By projecting out along the future time line a possible outcome of a choice can be seen. If the outcome is not welcome, then another choice can be made.

TIME/REGRESSION/PAST LIFE: As Barbara has been able to take clients to the original cause and neutralize the physical, mental or emotional sypmtom, resulting in changes in the present condition. She has studied "Time" in order to better explain and understant how it can be explained scientifically. In the past such experiences were explained as Past Life or another lifetime.Science, mainly biology, has found memories are carried forward in the DNA from parent to child (genetic memory). Quantum theories have explained that everything is happpening at the same time (All time is Now). There are experiences of the client that can't be readily explained as genetic but coming from someplace else. For ease of vocabulary, we lable them "past life" until another explanation is available. Barbara is working on that currently.

DETERMINISM: It appears we come into this life with a purpose, an assignment. We have a choice how to achieve it or not. Due to our prior life experiences we are more prone or programmed to do it one way or another. Sometimes this purpose is not revealed until the task is complete or almost complete.

FOREGIVENESS: Forgiveness is the key to growth. Forgiveness is not just the words. In regressions, often the client will "see" the intent of the situation, sometimes from all viewpoints. With the additional information, the client will gain understanding of the event. Sometimes, the client is led though an experience to perpetrator is doing what she/he truly thinks is the best at that time. See the link in http://www.radicalforgiveness.com/.
